Leon R. Symanski grew up in Southern California then moved to Long Island, N.Y. at the age of 16. After graduation, Leon returned to Southern California where he attended Orange Coast Community College where he worked full-time, went to school full-time, and played basketball. Leon’s hard work and dedication paid off when he was recruited by the famed UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian. Leon accepted an athletic scholarship and went on to play basketball for UNLV from 1984 – 1987. During those three years, UNLV amassed an incredible record of 97 wins and 11 losses.
UNLV won PCAA championship, the PCAA tournament and went to the NCAA tournament all three years. Leon’s college basketball career peaked when his team reached the Final Four his senior year. His team had an overall record of 37-2, a record which still stands today for the most Division I wins for a season. Leon’s 1987 basketball team was fittingly inducted into the UNLV Sport’s Hall of Fame in October 1998.
Leon graduated from UNLV in 1987 with a degree in Business Management. After graduation, he traveled throughout Asia playing semi-professional basketball. Upon his return to the United States, Leon began a successful career in the Las Vegas hotel/casino industry where he worked for the next ten years. In 1989 Leon was admitted to the Public Administration Graduate College at UNLV and he graduated with his master’s degree in May 1994. Leon graduated with honors and was elected into the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for public administrators.
Leon had dreamed of having the opportunity to attend law school and becoming a licensed attorney. He was extremely honored when he found out that he was chosen to be a charter member of the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 1998. Leon graduated from law school in May 2001.
Leon practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation. In August 2020, Leon became a certified Arbitrator. Leon is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, the Nevada Justice Association, and the Clark County Bar Association. These guys are great. Very efficient and handled what I needed very professionally. Highly recommended.
A friend recommended I call them for my speeding ticket. The lady informed me since it was my first offense Las Vegas Municipal Court was already offering ticket reduction, no traffic school, and no points as long as I pleaded no contest and paid online. She could’ve easily gotten me for my $50 and I wouldve never known! She even walked me through the whole process online. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.
They were super helpful I went to them when I got into a car accident they took care of everything and immediately set up an appointment to see some doctors super friendly staff. Car accidents can be super stressful and they made me feel welcomed and cared for. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Hopefully I have no more car accidents but if I do they’re my people to go to.
